The Scottish Sports Association recognises and welcomes the impact of the Land Reform
(Scotland) Act 2003.
It has been a significant piece of legislation which has contributed to the advancement of sport and physical recreation for the physical and mental well-being of the Scottish people. Along with the natural beauty of the landscape, it has distinguished Scotland as a place of value for both visitors and residents. We welcome this Review and feel its timing to be appropriate, coming as it does ten years
subsequent to the Act. The Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 is a critical piece of legislation for our members and we are keen to support the work of the Review Group.
